Berry College

Braxton Goodwin enters his first season at Berry College in 2026 as the Cornerbacks Coach after spending the previous three seasons on the coaching staff at Salve Regina University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree.

Goodwin began his coaching career as the Cornerbacks Coach in 2023 and 2024 before being promoted to Defensive Backs Coach in 2025. During his time at Salve Regina, he helped develop multiple All-Conference cornerbacks, including a First Team All-Conference selection and a Second Team All-Conference selection who led all of Division III in pass breakups. He was also part of a defensive staff that produced one of the nation’s top passing defenses, with the secondary leading the conference in passing defense in 2024.

In addition to coaching the secondary, Goodwin was responsible for opponent film breakdown, defensive game planning, leading defensive back meetings, creating practice and install materials, and recruiting.

Goodwin joined the Berry coaching staff in 2026 and works with the Vikings’ cornerbacks.
