Abby Daniels

Abby Daniels is entering her third year of service in the Berry College Sports Medicine Department in 2024, though her history at Berry extends back father than that as a proud alumnus. She currently serves as the athletic trainer for the Football and Softball teams at Berry. She is also involved with the Lifeworks program and serves as a supervisor to many students within the Sports Medicine Department.

Daniels returned to Berry in April of 2022 after a 3 year stint at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. While at Samford, she worked with the Volleyball, Softball, and Women’s Tennis programs.

Prior to her time at Samford, she served as an athletic trainer for the Softball and Cross Country teams at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida from 2018-2019.

Daniels earned her Master’s degree in Athletic Training from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2018, where she served as a graduate assistant within the Health and Human Performance Department.

Daniels graduated from Berry College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. While at Berry, she was a member of the softball team from 2012-2014, during which she earned SAA Newcomer of the Year and was a two-time 1st Team All-Conference selection. She was also a member of the Sports Medicine Department as a student worker, where she held roles as a team lead and a training room supervisor.

Daniels holds an active certification from the BOC and is a licensed athletic trainer in the state of Georgia. She currently resides in Rome, GA where she enjoys spending time outdoors on Berry’s campus.
