Berry Volleyball Climbs to No. 23 in AVCA Top 25

LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Berry College volleyball team jumped one spot to No. 23 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Top 25, the organization announced on Tuesday. 

Berry is currently 9-2 on the season and a perfect 5-0 in Southern Athletic Association (SAA) play. The Vikings have won 20-straight matches at home dating back to October 2016. Berry has also won 22-straight regular-season matches against SAA opponents. 

The Vikings are in first place in the SAA standings and rank first in the league in hitting percentage (.239) and blocks per set (2.05). Individually, Emily Hancock leads the SAA with 3.58 kills per set, Carson VanCampen is leading with 1.14 blocks per set and Sam Heard leads with .372 a hitting percentage.
