ABOUT: From Richmond Hill, Georgia, Kitchens-Hayes is the daughter of Chick and Kimberly and sister to Wyatt. She enjoys apprenticing on Nubian dairy goat farm, spending time with friends and family, volunteering with the US Fish and Wildlife service and the GA Coast. She is an Animal Science major and her race day superstition is to pack her back the exact same and wear "chicken leg" shorts pre-race. Her favorite superhero is Thor.

HIGH SCHOOL: The four-time scholar athlete recipient has a bookshelf full of awards: Most Dedicated Award, Hardest Worker Award, Most Reliable Award, and was a three-time regional champion with the cross country team, qualifying for state twice. Her senior year she was nominated for the USA Today/Coastal Empire Sports Award. On the track she was a three-time Region and Sectional qualifier and a two-time State qualifier with two Regional Championships.
