Morgan Trocki was named an assistant track & field coach for the program in July of 2019 and primarily coaches the sprints, relays, and jumps.

Trocki joined Berry from her alma mater, North Central College, where she also served as a graduate assistant coach (2017-2019). In her coaching role with the Cardinals, she managed recruiting efforts and designed all aspects of strength and conditioning for the program, while primarily working with the horizontal jumpers. During her time with the Cardinals, she saw two school records and two CCIW meet records fall, three CCIW Conference individual champions crowned, two CCIW Conference team championships earned, and guided Kelsey McLaurin ‘21 to national-qualifier status in the triple jump for the first time both indoors and outdoors in 2019. McLaurin earned All-America honors at the 2019 indoor national championships.

In her first two seasons as assistant coach for the Vikings, Trocki led two of her student-athletes to receive Berry Athletics Newcomer of the Year Honors in 2020 (Kya Wiggins & Roth Wilcox) and has helped the program maintain annual USTFCCCA Track and Field All-Academic Team selections. She has led her event areas to a total of ten school records, three SAA Conference Championship individual titles, eight individual and two relay SAA all-conference honors, and the 2021 SAA Conference Men’s Track and Field Athlete of the Year (Walker Payne).

Trocki graduated from North Central College in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and received her master’s degree in sport leadership in 2019.  She holds a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), as well as certifications in Strength and Conditioning, Jumps, and Program Management from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
