2015-16: Named to the SAA All Sportsmanship Team...SAA Academic Team...competed in 11 meets and set three personal records...swam a personal best in the 100-yard fly at the SAA Championships (2/16), with a time of 1:12.06.

2013-14: SAA Sportsmanship Team. Named to the SAA Spring 2014 Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll. Competed in ten meets and set six personal records...swam a personal best in the 100-yard breaststroke at the SCAD Invitational (12/6), with a time of 1:28.55...set three personal records at the SAA Conference Championships (2/14-16)...achieved a personal record in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 28.51...clocked in a personal record in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:52.89.

High School: Swam for Three Rivers Swim club...recipient of Excellence in Economics, Excellence in Music and John Phillips Sousa Award...member of the marching band, wind ensemble, symphony, Key Club and National Honor Society.

Personal: Sofie Maria De Wandel was born in Rome, Georgia...the daughter of Martine Osselaer and Roger De Wandel...has a twin sister, Valerie...majoring in exercise science at Berry.
