2014: Named to the SAA Honor Roll and the Dean's List...totaled one top-ten finish...competed in all seven meets, including six 6Ks and one 5K...improved her 6K personal best twice during the season...set a personal record in the 6K at the Rhodes Invitational (9/27), clocking in at 24:49...placed tenth at the Maryville (Tenn.) Invitational (10/4), helping the team to a second place finish...finished 69th at the South/Southeast Regional Championships (11/15), posting a personal record time of 24:28 in the 6K, to help the team to a ninth place finish...also ran her first marathon at Kiawah Island (12/14), with a time of 3:49:49.
2013: Named to the SAA Fall 2013 Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll and the Dean's List...received the cross country team award...competed in eight races, including six 6Ks, one 5K and one half marathon...achieved two personal records...placed 31st at the Sewanee Cross Country Invitational (9/7), posting a time of 26:53...ran a personal record at the Furman Classic (9/14), clocking in at 25:14 and placing 130th...finished 95th at the South/Southeast Regional Cross Country Meet (11/16), posting a time of 25:17...ran a 6:27 personal record at the Kiawah Island Half Marathon (12/14), clocking in at 1:35:18.
2012: Named to the SAA Fall 2012 Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll and Dean's List. Competed in eight races and achieved three personal records...ran a personal best in the 5K at the Greater Louisville Classic (9/29), posting a time of 22:51...ran a personal record in the 6K at the SAA Cross Country Championships (10/26), posting a time of 26:16...ran over a 12-minute personal best at the Philadelphia Half Marathon (11/18), clocking in at 1:41:45 and placing 9th in her age group...competed in the 6K at the USATF National Club XC Championships (12/8) in Lexington, Kentucky.
2011: Ran only in the first two meets due to injury...raced a 23:43 in her first college 5K at the Berry Invitational (9/11)...ran her first 6K in 29:27 at the Otterbein Invitational (9/24).
High School: Three-year letterwinner in cross country and one-year letterwinner in track at the American School of Dubai in Dubai, UAE....received most improved award her sophomore and senior year in cross country...coaches award recipient in track as a senior...member National Honor Society and ISA International Student Association.
Personal: Hibah Abuhamdieh was born in Roanoke, Virginia...the daughter of Reem and Basil Abuhamdieh...has three sisters, Lina, Diala, and Nuha...made Dean’s List fall 2011, spring 2012, fall 2012, fall 2013, spring 2014 and fall 2014...majoring in animal science and minoring in chemistry at Berry.
