Biography

ABOUT: From Cumming, Georgia, Avery is a business major who enjoys cooking, babysitting, party planning, and attending sporting events in her free time. Her favorite superhero is Spider-Man.  

HIGH SCHOOL: As a Denmark Great Dane, Huffman was a force both academically and athletically. She attained a 4.1 GPA, while graduating with honors and being inducted into the National Honor Society and the Best Buddies Club. Athletically, Avery owns a plethora of awards, including All-Region in 2024 and 2025, Teammate of the Year in 2024 and 2025, All-Region Tournament Team in 2025, a school record of 10 made three pointers in a game, All-County First Team in 2025, and was the Most Improved Player in 2025. Huffman was also Kyle Sandy Fall League MVP and was the Kyle Sandy “Best Shooter in the State.”
