ABOUT: Travis joined the Vikings to major in Biochemistry and minor in Psychology and One-Health from Dayton, Tennessee. She is the daughter of Bill and Shelia and has three siblings, Will and Zach Travis and McKayla Barnard. Other than basketball she enjoys working out and playing tennis. Her court superstition is to not wear braids or a ponytail when she plays, or she will play badly. Ava’s favorite superhero is Batman.

2023-2024: Appeared in 27 games with two starts… Had a season high 11 points against Agnes Scott on Dec. 16… Season high five rebounds against BSC on Feb. 18 during SAA Tournament play…Shot 48.3% from the field…Averaged 2.7 points per game… SAA Honor Roll
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Travis lettered in both Basketball and Tennis as a Eagle from Rhea County. On the Tennis court she earned All-District and All-Region honors while on the hardwood she was a two-time All-District Player and a two-time All-Tournament player. She was a recipient of the Maddie Taylor Triple A Award and was named a Rhea County Academic Champion for having a 95+ average all four years.
