SALEM, Va. — The Berry College women's lacrosse team dropped an out-of-conference road tilt to Roanoke this afternoon 23-2. Berry's record slipped to 1-8 on the year.
Second half goals from Meg Massey and Ashley Merritt broke up the shutout, as an aggressive Roanoke defense held Berry to just three total shots. Ella Makin and Andrea Lindgren each contributed 30:00 minutes in goal, combining for nine saves.
Berry will face North Central (Ill.) on Sunday in Sewanee, Tenn. at 1:00 p.m.
