CONWAY, Ark. — Berry College’s Jana Morning led the Vikings women’s basketball team to a 69-64 victory over the Hendrix College Warriors to earn the team’s second straight Southern Athletic Association (SAA) victory.
With the win, Berry is now 6-11 overall and 2-4 in league play. Hendrix falls to 9-8 and 2-4 in the SAA.
Morning scored a career-high 30 points on 7-for-11 three-point shooting. Her point total from tonight puts her inside the top-10 for points scored in a single game in Berry’s NCAA DIII era. Morning’s seven made three-point shots ties the single-game record held by Mel McLean from 2014.

The offense was held in check in the third as well, as Berry trailed 54-39 heading to the fourth. The Vikings then erupted offensively, outscoring the Warriors 30-10 to secure the win.
In the fourth quarter alone, Morning was 4-for-5 from three-point range and was 6-for-6 on free throws to lead Berry to the win.
