Softball to Host Murphy-Harpst Children's Center on Sunday

ROME, Ga. -- Berry College softball will host children and staff from Murphy-Harpst Children's Center during their game against Hendrix College on March 6.

Murphy-Harpst is an independent not-for-profit organization committed to meeting the needs of abused and neglected young people through residential treatment, placements in specialized foster care, and community programs that serve at-risk children and their families.

Physical activity is a cornerstone of Murphy Harpst and their mission. Murphy Harpst is raising money in order to build a new playing field on their campus. To donate to this project, you can go to their Go Fund Me Page:

Berry Softball would like to thank Papa John's Pizza of Rome for donating pizza for the event. Similarly to Berry Softball, Papa Johns has worked closely with Murphy Harpst in the past.

Fans will be able to donate to Murphy Harpst at the softball games on both Saturday and Sunday.
