ROME, Ga. — The Berry College men's and women's tennis teams earned 5-4 and 7-2 victories, respectively, over the Piedmont College Lions on Thursday afternoon. The win pushes the women's record to 7-0 in the spring while the men are now 4-3.
The women's team claimed all but one of the singles matchups and went 2-1 in doubles competition. Sara Myers was the standout at the three singles spot, claiming a 6-1, 6-0 victory.
The men were led by Ryan Miner, Rory Glatt and Jordan Crance who claimed wins in the 1-3 singles spots. Doubles helped push Berry to the win as the Vikings took both one and two doubles matchups.
Berry returns home on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. to host Millsaps College.
