Men's Tennis Bests Covenant in Tight 5-4 Contest

LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. — The Berry College men's tennis team earned a tight 5-4 victory over the Covenant College Scots on Wednesday afternoon, improving to 3-3 on the year. 

The Vikings went even in singles play, led by wins from Rory Glatt, Jordan Crance and Ben Knight. Berry claimed wins at one and two doubles off victories from Ryan Miner/Jordan Crance and Rory Glatt/Clay Jones. 

 

SINGLES COMPETITION:

Logan Hull (CCM) def. Ryan Miner (BCM) 6-3, 6-4

Rory Glatt (BCM) def. Paxton Haggerty (CCM) 6-1, 6-3

Jordan Crance (BCM) def. Ben Luke (CCM) 6-3, 6,3

Chris Morton (CCM) def. Clay Jones (BCM) 6-4, 7-6

Ben Knight (BCM) def. Cameron Cortman (CCM) 6-2, 6-3

Tyler Kelly (CCM) def. Jonas Frank (BCM) 3-6, 6-2

 

DOUBLES COMPETITION:

Ryan Miner / Jordan Crance (BCM) def. Trey Wood / Paxton Haggerty (CCM) 8-7

Rory Glatt / Clay Jones (BCM) def. Logan Hull / Chris Morton (CCM) 8-7
