SAVANNAH, Ga. — The Berry College swimming & diving teams wrapped up competition at the SCAD Invitational today, placing fifth on both sides.
Brooke Boyd had the standout performance, breaking the school record in the 400 IM with a time of 4:41.68, besting the old record by over four seconds. The Vikings posted multiple season and lifetime bests.
"There are too many top performances to mention," head coach Paul Flinchbaugh said. "I am thrilled with wehre the team is at this point in the season."
Other standouts include Bo Dyar dropping over six seconds in his 100 breaststroke and Paxton Smathers dropping over 17 seconds in his 200 freestyle.
The team will travel for their annual Winter Training Trip before a dual meet at BSC on Jan. 18.
