NORFOLK, Va. — The Berry College men's and women's swimming and diving teams have once again earned Scholar All-America recognition from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the Spring semester.
The Vikings continue their streak, earning honors each year since the program's inception in 2009.
The 710 total teams earning honors represent 476 institutions from across all NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA Divisions. The CSCAA recognizes teams with the Scholar All-America Award for achieving a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. Berry's men posted a 3.14 GPA while the women earned a 3.52 GPA.
The Southern Athletic Association (SAA) saw all six women's teams collect the academic achievement: Berry, Birmingham-Southern, Centre, Hendrix, Rhodes and Sewanee, as well as five men's teams: Berry, Birmingham-Southern, Centre, Hendrix and Sewanee were represented.
