Williamson Scores Twice, Leads Men's Soccer to 1-1 Road Trip

ROME, Ga. — After falling to Covenant College 2-0 on the road, the Berry men's soccer team bounced back on Saturday afternoon, securing a 2-0 victory over East. Mennonite University to improve to 4-1 on the year. 

Jake Williamson scored both Vikings' goals, the first coming in the 59th minute. He then found the back of the net again in the 67th minute off a pass from JP Phillips. Berry's offense was strong, firing 14 shots and earning four corner kicks. Baker Hoyt started in goal and had his number called just twice, securing a pair of saves.

Berry will travel to Fontbonne on Friday before another road game at Webster on Sunday the 15th.
