Men's Lacrosse Dominates Warriors, Evens SAA Record in 15-4 Showing

ROME, Ga. — The Berry College men's lacrosse team claimed its first Southern Athletic Association (SAA) victory on Friday night in dominant fashion, claiming a 15-4 win over Hendrix College.

Berry improves to 4-6 overall and 1-1 in league play. Hendrix now sits at 4-6 and 0-2. 

The Vikings were led offensively by McKinley Gannon and Chris Berchock who each scored four goals. Berry dominated on faceoffs, winning 20-of-22 en route to 55 total shots and 29 shots on goal. 

Berry held a 10-0 advantage at halftime, shutting down everything the Warriors tried to get going. Hendrix scored two in the third to break the shutout, but the Vikings continued to score to earn the 15-4 win.

Riley Brogdon earned the win in cage, recording seven saves on 11 shots.
