Will Hurt Named Berry Golf Graduate Assistant Coach

MOUNT BERRY, Ga. — Will Hurt is set to join the Vikings golf program as its newest graduate assistant coach, Berry head golf coach Brian Farrer announced on Monday.

"I am excited to have Will on board as our new graduate assistant," Farrer said. "Will’s energy and desire to be a head coach is going to compliment this position. I believe Will’s strengths will enable us to continue to recruit excellent student athletes and form strong relationships within the team, Berry and the community."

Hurt joins the Vikings after competing at Carson Newman University for the past four years. He also served as a USGA intern for the Tennessee Golf Association and is a board member of the SECGT Foundation.

"I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of a championship tradition that has been created under Coach Farrer," Hurt said. "Berry is a great program to get my career in college golf started. I look forward to contributing to the Berry community and golf teams."
