Track 2013: Competed in six races, while achieving two personal records...achieved a personal best in the 5000m at the Rome/Shorter Relays (3/30), clocking in at 17:02...ran a five-second personal record in the 1500m at the Emory Invitational (4/23), posting a time of 4:25...competed in the 800m at the SAA Track and Field Championships (4/27).

Cross Country 2012: Competed in eight races...achieved three personal records...started off the season running a 32:09 8K at the Berry/Sewanee Invitational (9/1)...ran a personal record in the 8K at the SAA Championships (10/26), clocking in at 28:16...ran a personal record in the Philadelphia Half Marathon (11/14), posting a time of 1:20:10...competed in the 10K at the USATF National Club XC Championships (12/8) in Lexington, Ky.  

High School: Three-year letterwinner in cross country and five-year letterwinner in track at Tiftarea Academy in Chula, Ga.....team captain of the 2009 GISA AA State Championship cross country team...state runner-up as a sophomore....won the GISA Region 3-AAA Region Championship in the 800m and finished sixth in the state meet with a time of 2:06 as a junior. lettered in baseball and football...all-region selection in football...won the state championship in baseball.

Personal: William Andrew Howell was born in Tifton, Ga....the son of Craig and Shannon Howell...has one brother, Chance...Fresman Class President...Leadership Fellow...member of the Student Orientation Advisory Committee and the First Year Experience Committe....majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry at Berry College.
