2014: Competed in four 8K races...saw improvement throughout the season...finished 39th out 80 runners at the Maryville (Tenn.) Invitational (10/4), clocking in at 31:47...ran a 31-second personal record in the 8K at the Berry Invitational (10/18), posting a time of 31:06...later improved that time by three seconds at the SAA Cross Country Championships (11/1), clocking in at 31:03.

High School: Lettered in cross country and track at Brookwood High School in Snellville, Georgia...has a 5K PR of 17:58...involved in orienteering.

Personal: Austin James Fowler was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia...the son of Sherri and Ashley Fowler...has one brother, Corey...undecided major at Berry.
