Men's Basketball Stalls at Top-25 Guilford

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Berry College men's basketball team dropped a road tilt on Saturday afternoon at No. 19 Guilford, falling 73-56.

With the loss, the Vikings slip to 3-2 on the year while Guilford improves to 5-1. 

Riley Costas led the way off the bench, scoring 20 points on 6-for-9 shooting. As a team, the Vikings shot just 32.8% and were 5-of-15 at the free throw line. 

The Vikings trailed by 10 at halftime, but Guilford went on a run early in the second period to secure the win. 

The team returns to action on Wednesday with a road trip at Ferrum at 2:00 p.m.
