Men's Basketball Cruises to Fourth Straight, Tops Majors 65-52

ROME, Ga. — The Berry College men's basketball team cruised to a 65-52 win over the Millsaps College Majors on Friday night, improving their record to 15-5 and 8-2 in Southern Athletic Association (SAA) play. 

The Vikings were led by a balanced offensive attack, as four players scored double digits. Caleb Haynes scored a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Elijah Hirsh also contributed 16 points in the outing. Myles Moore and Cory Johnson contributed 15 and 10 points, respectively. 

Berry led by as much as as 10 in the first half, but Millsaps fought back and trailed 27-24 at halftime. The offense clicked in the second half, as Berry shot 40% from the field and were 11-for-13 at the free throw line to secure the win.
