Men's Basketball Edged by Hendrix 94-91 on Sunday

CONWAY, Ark. — The Berry College men’s basketball team outscored Hendrix 52-45 in the final half but came up short, falling to the Warriors 94-91 in a Southern Athletic Association matchup on Sunday afternoon.

Both Myles Moore and Elijah Hirsh posted double-doubles in the outing, as Hirsh led the team offensively with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Moore led the Vikings’ defensively with 12 rebounds and 17 points. On the day, Berry shot 47.9-percent (35-for-73) as a team, finishing the contest with 44 rebounds and five assists.

  • Jacob Link: 17 PTS, 4-for-8 FG, 9-for-12 FT, 10 REB


  • With the loss, Berry falls to 5-9 overall, as well as 0-3 in the SAA.
  • Hendrix improves to 4-10 and 2-1.
  • Hirsh's 24 points tied a season-high. He also earned his fourth double-double on the year.


  • Berry will host Centre College in their next contest on Friday, Jan. 12 at 8:00 p.m.
