Biography

ABOUT: The Rome, Georgia native joins Berry because he loved the environment and culture. He says Berry is close to home and he is very familiar with the college as the head coach is his father. Sammy also grew up going to the elementary school at Berry. He is the son of Nicole and Tony Kunczewski and in his free time he enjoys playing video games, going out to eat, and playing golf.

2025: SAA Special Teams Athlete of the Week...

HIGH SCHOOL: In his high school career at Darlington, Kunczewski was a First Team All-Region quarterback and captain. He also lettered in Track and Field and was a state champion. He holds the relay state record in the 4x200m relay.
