Jake was named the tight ends and halfback coach for the Vikings in July 2021.
McKenzie joins the Vikings with previous coaching experience, serving on the Kennesaw State coaching staff since 2019. While with the Owls, he coached the running backs, assisted with the tight end, offensive line and wide receivers, worked heavily on the recruiting side and assisted with film and overall statistics.
In addition to coaching the Owls, Jake played running back for them and was named the “Iron Owl” for the 2014-15 season and won two Big South championships in 2017 and 2018.
Jake graduated from KSU with a Bachelor of Science in 2019 and a Masters of Public Administration in 2021.
