Brown joins the Vikings for the 2026 season as an assistant coach and weight room coordinator for the baseball team.

Brown was born and raised in Madison, Alabama, where he fell in love with the game of baseball. His love followed him to the collegiate level, where he spent two years as a starting pitcher at Wallace State Community College – Hanceville. Following a successful stint at the junior college level, Brown took his talents to Division I Samford University, where he spent three productive years on the pitching staff as a reliever. Brown capped off his collegiate career with a degree in Health Science. 

Coach Brown’s playing experience stretches into the professional level, where he competed in an Independent League from 2022-2024.  

As a coach, Brown led Priceville High School in Decatur, Alabama, as their head baseball coach this past year.
