ABOUT: From Brewton, Alabama, Hobbs is the son of Hillary Herrington and Hunter Hobbs. He has two siblings: James-Padgett English and Mary-Helen Hobbs. The communications major says he likes to eat pasta before a match and before he serves he kicks the toes of his feet on the ground to stretch his foot as his pregame superstitions. Other than tennis he enjoys photography/videography and video games. His favorite superhero is Batman.

HIGH SCHOOL: A graduate of TR Miller, he was a member of the National Honors Society, Southern Pine Youth Leadership Nominee, Boy's State, and earned the Rotary Award. On the Court He was the State #2 Doubles Runner Up and competed in the state tournament three years in a row. His senior year he was named the team captain.
