2016: Named to the SAA Academic Honor Roll...played in 16 games for the Vikings...made 11 starts...caused 13 turnovers and scooped 12 ground balls...picked up one assist on the season.

2015: Member of SAA Regular Season Co-champion Viking team...played in 15 games and started twice...tallied two goals and dished one assist for Berry...scooped 11 ground balls and caused eight turnovers...SAA Academic Team.

2014: Named to the SAA Spring 2014 Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll. Appeared in 15 games, including seven starts...scored one goal on the season...helped a defense which posted a 5.53 goals-against average...fired off two shots in a 18-5 win at Methodist (3/4)...scored one goal in a 12-3 win at Rhodes (3/29)...fired off one shot in a 12-5 win versus Millsaps (4/19) in the second round of the SAA tournament.

High School: Lettered in lacrosse and bowling at Hagerty High School in Oviedo, Florida...won the district championship as a senior...club team, Bam Lax...member of National Technical Honor Society...worked for Bright House Sports Network. 

Personal: James Edward Kurila was born in Oviedo, Florida...the son of Susan and Ed Kurila...has one brother, Andy...his brother, Andy, was also on the lacrosse team at Berry...Dean's List...on-campus job: sports medicine...majoring in biology and minoring in psychology at Berry.
