MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Berry College women's golf team earned a fourth place finish at the Lee & Joe Duncan Invitational over the weekend behind another strong individual showing from freshman Lora Prince.

In an invitational that featured several SAA conference rivals, the Vikings held their own with a team score of +49, trailing only Sewanee (+25), Piedmont (+40), and Oglethorpe (+45) in the standings.

Prince finished in third place individually out of 55 golfers by shooting five over par (+5) over the course of two rounds. After round one she was tied for second place with a +1, and then finished round two with a +4.

Julia Conroy shot +11 to finish tied for 12th place, and finished with the most birdies out of any Vikings with three while carding the only birdie for the team in round two on hole nine. 

Carla Lotz tied for 26th individually with +17, Grace finished 34th with +19, and Hailey Netro was tied for 37th with +24. The final two golfers for the Vikings were Paige Greco and Macenzie Manning, who finished tied for 43rd and 54th, respectively.

The Vikings will head north to Cincinnati, Ohio for their next outing at the Clovernook Women's Collegiate Tournament, hosted by Wittenberg University on October 12-13.
