MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Berry women's soccer goalkeeper Kate Hill has been named SAA Defensive Athlete of the Week for the first time this season and the third time in her Berry career, as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.

Hill received the honor after an impressive outing against the No. 2 Emory University Eagles. She finished the match with eight saves, including seven in the second half to keep the Vikings in it until the very end.

Hill and the Vikings return to action tomorrow evening against Huntingdon at Bob Pearson Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m.
