Men's Golf Announces 2026-27 Incoming Class

MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – Head coach Brian Farrer welcomes 10 new additions to the roster for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
 
Andrew Sandberg
Andrew is a native of Knoxville, Tennessee and the son of Heather and David Sandberg. He will be majoring in business management. Andrew graduated from Webb School of Knoxville and chose Berry because of the great campus and people. He sees his dad as his biggest sports influence, and enjoys golfing, fishing, and hanging out with friends in his free time.
 
Davis Daigle
Davis is from Tampa, Florida and the son of Laurie and Scott Daigle. He will be majoring in finance. He graduated from Berkeley Preparatory School, where he was a three-time state qualifier, two-time district champion, and regional champion once on the golf team. Davis is also currently the school's scoring record holder. He chose Berry because of the good academics and campus atmosphere. He sees his parents as his biggest sports influence and enjoys fishing and hunting in his free time.
 
Owen Weber
Owen is from Mt. Juliet, Tennessee and the son of Melissa and Chris Weber. He will be majoring in biology. He graduated from Oak Hill Academy, where he excelled athletically and academically. He won three team state championships as a member of the golf team and won a district championship as a member of the basketball team. In the classroom, Owen achieved a 4.26 GPA, was on the dean's list all four years, and a National Honors Society member from 2023-26. He chose Berry because of the tight knit community and the high-level education. His biggest sports influence is a young Tiger Woods, and he enjoys playing guitar in his spare time.
 
David Zachok
David is a native of Milton, Georgia and the son of Ellen and Steven Zachok. He will be majoring in business. He graduated from Rivers Academy, where he was a member of the National Honors Society and earned the President's Volunteer Service Award through the YMSL. On the golf course, David was a two-time varsity member at King's Ridge Christian School and a two-time varsity member at Rivers Academy. He chose Berry because it gave him the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level, while maintaining strong academics.  In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, listening to country music, and spending time outside.
 
William Eller
William is a native of Wilkesboro, North Carolina and the son of Leah and David Eller. He will be majoring in business. He graduated from Wilkes Central High School, becoming the 2026 NCHSAA 4A State Runner-Up and a four-time state individual qualifier for the golf team. In the classroom, he was a Junior Marshal, beta club member, and National Honors Society member. He chose Berry because it's a place where he could grow academically, athletically, and personally. William sees his father as his biggest sports influence, and he enjoys going to the beach, riding his bike, and doing anything sports related in his free time.
 
Cooper Goodson
Cooper is from Kennesaw, Georgia and the son of Jenni and Chris Goodson. He will be majoring in business. He graduated from Cornerstone Preparatory Academy as a four-time individual state champion, GSGA Atlanta Junior Open Champion, and HJGT Bear's Best Junior Open Champion. Off the course, he was a member of the beta club and an ACSI Christian Student Athlete Award winner. Cooper chose Berry because of his good relationship with Coach Farrer and Coach Wilson. His biggest sports influence is Haotong Li, and he enjoys basketball, pickleball, and playing guitar in his free time.
 
Christopher Forsythe
Christopher is from Naples, Florida and joins the program after two years at Oglethorpe University. He will be majoring in economics and minoring in mathematics. During his time at Liberty University Online Academy, he was a regional champion on the golf course. Christopher chose to come to Berry because of the team and coaching staff. His biggest sports influence is Tiger Woods, and he enjoys going to the gym and playing pickleball in his spare time.
 
Brendan Cart
Brendan is a native of St. Augustine, Florida and the son of Jennifer Kuhl and Gregory Cart. He will be majoring in business. He graduated from Allen D. Neese High School, where he was a varsity athlete and regional top 10 golfer. Brendan chose Berry because he liked the coaches and the athletic opportunities the school provides. His biggest sports influence is his coach Jordan Dembsy, and he enjoys hunting, fishing, and going to the beach in his free time.
 
Gavin Tavitas-Steele
Gavin is from Fair Oaks, Texas and the son of Stephanie Asfeld and Kevin Steele. He will be majoring in business. He graduated from Samuel V Champion High School, where he earned first team all-district and first team all-region honors as a member of the golf team. Gavin chose Berry because of the great views, great golf team, and good academics. His biggest sports influence is Scottie Scheffler, and in his free time he enjoys playing sports, Bible studies, music, and hanging out with friends.
 
Jack Thomas Polansky
Jack is from San Antonion, Texas and the son of Kelley and Josh Polansky. He will be majoring in environmental sciences and minoring in chemistry. He graduated from Winston Churchill High School, where he was the Churchill Golf Team MVP in 2024 and 2026. Academically, he was First Team Academic All-District all four years and THSCA First Team All-State in 2026. Jack chose Berry because he knew it was where he wanted to be, and he was excited to join the community. His biggest sports influence is Jordan Spieth, and he enjoys playing video games, disc golf, and pickleball in his spare time.

Mason Seaton
Mason is a native of Jacksonville Beach, Florida and the son of Lesley and Brian Seaton. He graduated from Fletcher High School, where he earned Duval County All-Conference honors from 2024-2025, finished second at the Class 3A District Championship, and qualified for the Class 3A Florida State Championship both individually and as a team. He chose Berry because of the strong academics and very good golf program. In his free time, Mason enjoys hunting, fishing, and hanging out with friends.
