| By:
LA CROSSE, Wis. - Macy Murdock of Berry women's outdoor track & field wrapped up her Vikings career at the 2026 NCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Thursday evening at Veterans Memorial Stadium on the campus of UW La Crosse.

Murdock finished 6th in her heat and 12th overall in the 400M Hurdles with a time of 1:01:97 to record her best career finish in NCAA competition and earn Second Team All-American honors. Murdock improved upon her 17th place finish from last year and picked up her second career All-American honor.

Murdock wraps up her Vikings career with two career Second Team All-American awards and three SAA Championships in the 400 meter Hurdles holding both the school and SAA record.

Her decorated career includes being named USTFCCCA All-Region three years in a row in multiple events in both indoor and outdoor as well as three SAA Championships in the 100 meter Hurdles. She also earned Second Team All-SAA honors in the 4x400 Relay in 2025 and Third Team honors in 2024.

On top of the outdoor season Murdock was also a force on the indoor track as she earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors in the Long Jump and Pentathlon. Murdock broke the Berry indoor record in the 400 meters and earned Second Team All-SAA honors in that event. In 2025 she earned Second Team All-SAA honors in the 60m Hurdles and the 4x400 Relay while also collecting Honorable Mention honors in the Long Jump. Murdock was a key part of the Vikings program and closes her time as one of the most decorated of all time.

On her finish and key contribution to the Vikings program, Head Coach Luke Syverson says, "Macy ran a great race and put herself in position to advance but unfortunately the 10th and last hurdle had other ideas. She still finished strong and I am proud of her effort. She has been one if not the best all around athletes we've had in our program and has accomplished a ton during her time here.We are a better program because of her."

Congratulations Macy!
