MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - After a historic 2025 campaign, Berry football is set to embark on another pursuit of greatness in 2026 under Head Coach
Tony Kunczewski.
Â
The Vikings delivered a dominant performance last season, outscoring opponents 463–177. That success led to a second consecutive Southern Athletic Association championship and a run to the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals, the deepest postseason finish in program history.
Â
The 2026 season opens with an early test on the road September 5 at Huntingdon. Berry then returns home for a rematch of last season's NCAA Tournament first round against LaGrange. The Vikings claimed both meetings in 2025 and have not dropped a contest to the Panthers since 2014.
Â
Berry closes its only two-game home stand at Valhalla against Carnegie Mellon, looking to avenge a 17–9 road loss from last season. After a bye week, the Vikings hit the road for a key battle October 3 at Trinity University following a season sweep of the Tigers in 2025.
Â
The first half of the season concludes October 10 with a trip to Memphis to face Rhodes.
The Vikings continue into the second half of the season as they return home October 17 to take on Southwestern. Berry then travels to Maryville for the first time since 2022 after earning a decisive 36–7 home victory over the Scots last season.
Â
The final stretch begins October 31 at Valhalla against Centre, where the Vikings will look to extend a five-game winning streak. Berry then heads to Jackson, Mississippi, for another road test against Millsaps, a team the Vikings have defeated in 10 straight meetings.
The regular season finale is set for November 14 at home, as Berry hosts Sewanee in the final battle of the regular season.
Â
Season tickets for Viking home games will go on sale June 15. Access to purchase tickets will be available on the athletics website under "Gameday."
