MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - The Berry College Equestrian team traveled to Virginia for Friday and Saturday for two top ranked matchups against No. 1 Lynchburg and No. 4 Sweet Briar. 

The Vikings put up a valiant effort but fell 9-1 to Sweet Briar. Willa Akins won her fence point over her opponent 81-78 for Berry's lone point.

Then on Saturday against Lynchburg the Vikings lost 8-2. Devon Ansley and Meaghan Kursman won their flat point with a 74 and 78 respectively.

Next up the Vikings travel back to Sweet Briar, VA for the NCEA ODAC Championships from March 18-21.
