ATLANTA, Ga. - The Berry College men's and women's track and field teams continued their outdoor season at the Emory Spring Break Classic on Friday and Saturday in Atlanta. The women led the way by setting a new school record in the 4x200 Relay.
Women's Top 8 Finishes
The Vikings excelled in the Hammer Throw asÂ
Malysha Winston finished 5th with a long of 48.35m while her teammate
Avery Jones finished 7th with a long of 45.60m.

Ayla Husby finished 5th in the Javelin with a throw of 33.81m.
Freshman
Laney Ray finished 8th in the Triple Jump with a jump of 10.93m.
Junior
Kris Williams finished 8th in the High Jump with a jump of 1.50m.

Abby Reams finished 7th in the 5000m Open with a 20:18.62.
Junior
Ella Williams finished 2nd in the 5000m Invitational with a 18:22.27.
The Vikings got two finishers in the top eight in the Shot Put as junior
Onoyeme Egure finished 4th with a throw of 12.85m on her final attempt and senior
Malysha Winston finished 7th with a throw of 12.20m. It was the same in the Pole Vault as freshman
Laney Ray finished 4th with a vault of 3.45m while teammate
Ella Pine finished right behind her in fifth with a vault of 3.30m.

Macy Murdock finished 8th in the 100m Hurdles with a 16.22.
The women then finished off the event with a school record in the 4x200 asÂ
