MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - For the third straight week Berry College softball pitcher JJ Sweat has been named SAA Pitcher of the Week.

A freshman from Dallas, GA Sweat picked up two more wins for the Vikings including one against a top 25 team. In game one against LaGrange she picked up the win throwing four shutout innings while allowing just two hits and striking out six in an 8-0 5 inning win. Then in game two she led the Vikings to an upset of No. 15 Emory as she threw a complete game 7 innings allowing just one earned run while striking out four as she improved to 4-0 on the season in four starts. Overall she went 2-0 with a .64 ERA and 10 strikeouts. Sweat is 4-0 on the season in four starts and leads the SAA with a 0.28 ERA.
