MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - The Berry College women's golf team traveled to Savannah to compete in the Port City Classic at the Savannah Country Club.
 
In the opening round, senior Amanda Milner paced the Vikings with an 85 (+14) as the team posted a total of 351. In round two, freshman Hailey Netro and sophomore Emery Bryant led the way with matching 84s (+13), helping Berry improve by nine shots to a team score of 342.
 
The Vikings climbed two spots on the leaderboard during the final round to finish eighth overall in the 16-team field. Netro led Berry individually with a two-round total of +29, finishing tied for 30th in a field of 91 players.
 
The Vikings will head next to Jekyll Island, GA for the Jekyll Island Collegiate on Mar 20-22.
