MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Women's Lacrosse saw two of their young stars in Shelby Klayman and Lillie Swanson dominate the field on Saturday on their way to SAA Athlete of the Week honors. 

Swanson was the star of the show offensively, as she scored five goals, delivered an assist, and grabbed three ground balls while causing two turnovers. In an interview after Saturday's blowout win over Transylvania, the freshman attacker credited the team's preparation throughout the week as a catalyst for her success. 

Freshman defender Shelby Klayman was also a dominant force for the defensive side of the ball. She generated 5 key ground balls and caused two turnovers to anchor the Viking defense. The Dallas, Georgia, native looks to be an extremely valuable asset to the Viking lineup for this season and years to come.

The Vikings face a tough test this Friday against Christopher Newport in Virginia. First draw is set for 5 PM.
