Vikings Perform Strong on Senior Day

MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - The Berry College equestrian team completed their final home competition of the year as they competed in IHSA Hunt Seat and Western competiton on Saturday and Sunday. Vikings seniors were honored on Saturday.

Saturday hunt seat results:
 
Berry finished in 6th place as a team, despite several strong performances.  Despite the finish, Berry remains first in the region going into the last show of the regular season.  Additionally, Elle Baird was High Point Rider with a 1st and 2nd place in the Limit division, while Emily Sudderth qualified for Regionals in Open fences.

Sunday western results:
 
Berry finished 3rd on Sunday. Catie Thompson was Reserve High Point Rider on Saturday, and Maribelle Buli qualified for Regionals in Rookie. The team finished the season as Reserve High Point team in the region.
