MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Head coach Meredith Mills has released the reigning SAA Champion's 2026 season schedule.
The Vikings look to continue their dominance in an expanded SAA this season off the strength of key all-conference returners. All-World junior pitcher and outfielder Ava Fouts will impact games in every aspect between the pitching circle, field, and batter's box. Senior slugger Lauren Cothern makes her return to the diamond and batter's box as one of the most feared hitters in the league. Elly Bennett, Bradynn Belcher, and Erica Bennett are also sure to make huge plays in 2026 for the Vikings.
Their slate begins at home with a doubleheader against Maryville on February 14. A few days later, the doubleheader action continues with a matchup on the road against Covenant on February 19. The road in-state doubleheader action rolls on with games against LaGrange on February 21 and Emory on February 28.
Things heat up in Columbus, Georgia, just before spring break, as the Vikings compete in the NFCA Lead-Off Classic against DePauw, ETBU, Denison, Trine, Spalding, and Bethel from March 6-8. The Vikings then close their non-conference slate out with home games against Huntingdon on March 12 and Asbury on March 17. SAA play rolls around on March 21-22, as Berry travels to Texas to take on Southwestern. The Vikings' conference home opener is the following weekend against Millsaps from March 28-29. The homestand continues against Trinity on the following weekend from April 3-4.
The crucial conference games continue at Centre on April 11-12. Berry finally gets a chance to tune up on the road against Piedmont on April 15 in a doubleheader. The following week, the Vikings battle Agnes Scott at home for a doubleheader on April 22. The final stretch of the conference season includes matchups against Sewanee and Rhodes on April 25-26 and May 2-3.
The SAA Tournament will be held from May 7-9.
