MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Viking baseball is ready to roll in 2026, as head coach David Beasley has released their 2026 slate with championship aspirations.
Berry will enjoy the return of All-American first baseman Riley Uhls, who is sure to make a huge impact both in the field and batter's box for the Vikings this season. The Vikings will also look for standout years from senior outfielder Charles Pulaski, senior infielder Garrett Lang to be difference makers this season.
The pitching staff is powered by a strong balance of starters and relievers led by reliever Cole Porter and starters Jackson Collett and Jackson Halla.
The season kicks off with a three-game weekend against Emory, beginning with a single game in Atlanta on February 13 and a doubleheader against the Eagles at home on February 14. Following that three-game series, the Vikings hit the road for the 2026 D3 Showcase against Swarthmore, Washington and Lee, and Susquehanna, with one game a day from February 20-22 in Kannapolis, North Carolina. They follow that up with a home game against Maryville on February 24, before taking a long road trip to Marietta College in Ohio, where they will play one a day from February 27- March 1. The Vikings then head home to face Marietta again on March 7 before dueling at home against LaGrange on March 10.
Following that, things heat up as the Vikings near conference with the Berry Invitational, facing Belhaven on March 13 and Cortland on March 14 and 15. The Vikings then close out non-conference with a tune-up at LaGrange on March 17.
Conference play gets going with a 3-game series against Sewanee from March 21-22. Following that, the Vikings head to Tennessee to take on Maryville on March 24. Then, it is back to conference play, as the Vikings spend the following weekend at Southwestern University from March 27-28. Berry then enjoys another home weekend against Trinity from April 3-4. The action continues with a trip to Centre for another three-game series against Centre on April 11 and 12. Berry then hits the road for the Battle of Northwest Georgia against Covenant on April 14. The in-state action continues against Oglethorpe on April 18-19 as they face a three-game series against the Stormy Petrels.
The second installment of the Battle of Northwest Georgia follows as they take on Covenant at home on April 21. Following this, the Vikings battle Millsaps at home from April 25-26, and then head to Rhodes from May 1-2 for the final regular season games of their SAA conference schedule.
The SAA Tournament is set to take place from May 7- 10.
