MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Head tennis coach Doug Elly has unveiled the Vikings' 2025-2026 match slate for the men's upcoming season.
The Vikings bring back a strong nucleus of competitors like Second Team All-SAA performer Jake Chapman, rising seniors Aiden Benoualid and Jace Goode, and sophomore Léo Nedkov.
The season gets underway with a contest at home against Wallace State Community College on September 11. Berry then readies itself for the Berry Fall Invitational, which they will be hosting from September 26-28. On the following weekend, the fall season heats up with the ITA Regionals from October 3-5. After a few weekends of rest, men's tennis wraps up their fall season with a trip across the state to Piedmont for the Piedmont Fall Foliage Classic in Demorest, Georgia, from October 24-25.
The spring season gets going for the Vikings on February 6 with another matchup at home against Wallace State. Following these matches, Berry prepares for a showdown against Shorter University on February 21. As spring break rolls around, the Vikings hit the road to Hilton Head, South Carolina, for four days of action from March 8-12.
The season intensifies with a doubleheader on March 21 at Emory University, as the Vikings take on the Eagles and Covenant College. The in-state action continues with a battle on the road against Piedmont on March 24.
SAA action gets rolling on March 28 and 29, with a "Pack The House" welcoming against Millsaps and senior day against Rhodes on the following day. The action does not slow down on the following weekend, with matches against the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Southwestern, and Trinity from April 3-5. Berry heads back home for meetings with Sewanee and Centre on April 11 and 12. The regular season concludes with a match on the road against Oglethorpe on April 19.
The SAA Conference Tournament begins on April 24 and concludes on April 26. Â
