PRATTVILLE, Ala. - The Men's Golf team is currently tied for 8th place in the Capital City Classic after their first round.

As a team they shot 9 over par for a score of 297 with Jay Sanders leading the way in the first round with a 71 (-1) to be in seventh place individually. Jay Carr's four birdies put him behind Sanders at 74 (+2) and Noah Farland and Cam Baker followed with scores of 75 and 77, respectively.

The team shot a combined 15 birdies in their countable scores and Charles Kyle added in one with his first round at 79.

The Vikings will return to action at the Capital City Classic to break the eighth-place tie and hunt down more opponents.
