MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - With the regular season coming to a close, the Vikings have their sights set on a Southern Athletic Association Tournament Championship run, starting with a first round matchup against Hendrix. 

Enjoying her third straight 10 plus win season, head coach Brittni Hall is looking to get her team over the hill and win their first SAA title in school history. 

The Vikings close out the season at 11-6 and are primed for success in the conference tournament. Berry has relied on the offense of experienced scorers and facilitators like Dani Taraska, AnnaKate Estock, Molley Cross, and Katie Claire Smith, while also investing scoring responsibilities into breakout freshmen Morgan Barton and Isabel Fransen.  

Defensively, Madeline Dahl, Sydney Howard, Katherine Herrero, and Taraska are aggressive and talented defensive specialists, all of whom have over 15 forced turnovers on the year to spearhead a Berry defense that leads the SAA in caused turnovers. 

Berry will face a Hendrix team that they dominated 19-4 in their first meeting. Despite their recent success against the Warriors, the Vikings must prepare themselves for an uphill neutral site battle against Hendrix midfielder Peyton Refling, who has 50 goals and 9 assists on the season.  

The winner of the first-round matchup in Memphis, Tennessee, will take on the hosting Rhodes Lynx with a championship game berth on the line.  

Game time is set for Friday April 25 at 4 PM ET.
