JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. - The Men's Golf team took on round two today of the Jekyll Island Collegiate to move up two spots at 27th.
Noah Farland led the day with just one over par 73 and four birdies.
Landon Painter also had a tremendous round today with an albatross on the 528 yd par 5 1st hole from 148 with a pitching wedge and an eagle to shoot a 75 (+3). Other Vikings in the 70's was
Jay Sanders and
Cam Baker at 77 and 76, respectively.
Kevin Verrill rounded out the day for the Vikings with an 81, to make the team score 301 before heading into round three tomorrow.
The men will finish the tournament tomorrow at the Jekyll Island Golf Club.
