JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. - The men's golf team sits in 29^th place after one round of golf at the Jekyll Island tournament hosted by Oglethorpe.

Cam Baker led the day with a 74 (+2) and three birdies to be tied for 49^th overall individually. Noah Farland also had three birdies in his first 18 holes of the tournament on his way to a score of 76 (+4).

Kevin Verrill, Landon Painter, and Jay Sanders rounded out day one with scores of 78 (+6), 80 (+8), and 81 (+9). 

The team in total shot 12 birdies and have a score of 308 after round one.
