MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - The Vikings had a great senior day in their last home show of the season.

Saturday Hunt Seat was led by Berry who came in 2nd of 12 teams with 35 points, just three behind Auburn. Willa Akins tied for the Reserve High Point Rider with a first and second place finish in Open Flat and Fences while qualiying for Regionals in Open Flat.

On Sunday Berry won the Western Show with 34 points, just one point ahead of MSU. However, with a deficit of seven points going into the last regular show of the season, the win was not enough to capture the region title. Catie Thompson was the Reserve High Point Rider with a first and second place finish in level II while Brooke Backlund qualified for Regionals in Reining.
