MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - After a magical postseason run, Men's Soccer is reaping the benefits with Jack Raulston (first team), Cooper Cherry (third team), and Max Albertson (fourth team), all being named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region squad.
Raulston earned his way to First Team All-Region behind 12 goals (second in Berry single-season history), including 8 game-winning goals throughout the season. The Knoxville, Tennessee, native started the season hot, scoring 5 goals in the first five games of the season, which included a 2-goal effort in a win against Brevard in the season opener. The sophomore striker also proved himself as a clutch option when he scored a goal in the conference semifinals against Trinity to stretch the game into extra time.
Cooper Cherry was an enforcer all season as the Vikings' primary goalkeeper throughout the season. Cherry pulled down a Berry single-season record 87 saves. The Canton, Georgia, native had an astounding save percentage of over 81 percent, leading Berry to a 15-goal advantage over their opponents in 2025.
Max Albertson earned his way to Fourth Team All-Region, as he became Batman in the postseason when it mattered most for the Vikings. He ended the season with a total of 9 goals and 3 assists. His clutch performance in penalty kicks against Trinity helped the Vikings to the conference championship game, and he scored three goals in the final two games of the season in clutch moments.
