Men's Indoor Track and Field Picked Third in SAA Preseason Poll

| By:

CANTON, Ga. - The Vikings have been picked to finish third in this year's Southern Athletic Association Preseason Poll, voted on by all nine head coaches in the conference.

This season, the Vikings have a solid balance of power in the throwing category, speed in the sprinting category, and quickness and longevity in the long-distance regard. Proven distance runners like Troy Blackwood (Second Team All-SAA in 5000m), Caleb Pritchett (Second Team All-SAA in 4000m DMR), Ethan Smith (Second Team All-SAA in mile), and T Harris (Second Team All-SAA in 4000m DMR) will all be huge difference makers in distance events.

In the sprinter world, Andy Forsyth looks to make a jump from second place in the 800m at the conference championship to first. He was also a part of the runner-up 4000m DMR team. He will also be joined by newcomers that are primed to have breakout seasons as well this winter.

The throwers include All-SAA and USTFCCCA All-Region thrower Dawson Livingston, who will be joined by David Attaochu and Bryson Hill, among others.
